Topic: iRadio button on first page?

Hi,

First let me extend my thanks to the author of this framework. Nearly all I need is present.
I have a small problem that I though would be resolved in a few minutes... well... it wasn't the case but I'm sure someone here will find an obvious solution that I missed.

I'm trying to have iRadio buttons on the first page.
My original code is something like:

<div class="iLayer" id="waHome" title="Home">
      <div class="iPanel">
           <div class="iMenu">
               <form id="locationRadio" action="#_home">
              <li class="iRadio" autosubmit="autosubmit"><img src="images/location.png" width="29" height="29" />Going in radio check
                <label><input type="radio" name="locationSelection" value="0" />Radio 0</label>
                <label><input type="radio" name="locationSelection" value="1" />Radio 1</label>
              </li>
             </form>
      </div>
</div>

I do understand that this would give me an first level entry in a menu (class="iMenu") but I tried everything I could think to get directly the radio on the first page including using the "load" event to automatically go into it (with "async" rev.) but I wasn't able to jog anything.
Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.
G

Re: iRadio button on first page?

Thanks for report, I'll check this.

For now, you can try to call WA.Refresh(...) in your "load" handler.

Re: iRadio button on first page?

Thanks for the prompt answer.

I tried that already but it didn't work. But maybe I'm doing it wrong. What would be the ID to use as argument for the "refresh" call using my example?

Re: iRadio button on first page?

Well, don't know what you mean but the proper code for your example should be

<form id="locationRadio" action="#_home">
    <div class="iPanel">
        <fieldset>
        <ul>
            <li class="iRadio" autosubmit="autosubmit">
                <img src="images/location.png" width="29" height="29" />Going in radio check
                <label><input type="radio" name="locationSelection" value="0" />Radio 0</label>
                <label><input type="radio" name="locationSelection" value="1" />Radio 1</label>
            </li>
        </ul>
        </fieldset>
    </div>
</form>

If you want to automatically go back

Re: iRadio button on first page?

Thanks for the proper code.
I'm still not able to set the page containing the iRadio to be on first page that gets loaded.. always have to have the "Going in radio check" line (from example) on the page first, select and then get the radio. Did a bunch of test with WA.Refresh without success.. sniff..

Thank you for your time.

Any way to access a sample page?

Re: iRadio button on first page?

Allo,

Sorry for the late answer.

Might be difficult to setup external access on that one. But below is the complete sanitized page where I want to make my modificatinos - nothing really special here.

Background: I'm the author of "Krooboz" - a type of a database to multimedia extender box gateway (http://mediaplayersite.com/Kroozbox). My goal with WebApp is to develop a kroozbox template for music and video access from iPhone/ipod. In this part of my effort, I'm trying to have a way to control where my music will play from my main server. I'm using a few WMB54G music bridge (same as Sondigo Sirocco) around the house that gets feed with Kroozbox. On initial load this page below gives a one line ("Room") and when selected it gives the list of the different existing music bridge as iRadio listing. Selection of the room where the music should go can then be done. My goal is NOT to have to go through the first page ("room" line) and have the iRadio list as soon as I open the web interface...   make sense? ... or maybe there is another control more adequat for that!?

Oh.. The "CMI8769*" tags that you see in the code gets replace by Kroozbox by the values of the room locations (name and ID taken from the WMB54G automation server). The resulting html is what I already sent you above. The "setLocationCheckedValue" gets the current value of where the music is directed to checkmark the proper room entry in the list - anyway that shouldn't be musch of a concern... Thank you again.

Re: iRadio button on first page?

Well, I must admit that I don't understand the problem.

Perhaps you can post some screenshots of what you're expecting?

Re: iRadio button on first page?

I figured there was some misunderstanding; I have a tendency to over explain. Sorry about this.
I don’t think a screenshot could help.

Let me put it in one phrase:

I want the web landing page to be the radio list itself.

Make sense?
Thanks.
